Unit overview
In this unit, students will:
- build their understanding of pattern in maths
- build their understanding of algebraic formulas
- explore how algebraic formulas can be used to describe interactions between real-life variables
- recognise how algebraic formulas describe recurring patterns
- identify that First Nations Peoples’ knowledges were built over time through scientific observation of the environment to understand the interactions of plants, animals, water, weather, fire and even the stars.
