Unit overview

In this unit, students will:

  • investigate a variety of life cycles of living things
  • appreciate the deep understanding and strong connection of First Nations Peoples to living things
  • understand how this understanding and connection informs the way First Nations Peoples live on Country
  • explore the life cycles of living things by researching, observing, doing experiments and reading case studies
  • think about the interconnectedness of nature and how human activity can disrupt the life cycles of other living things
  • share an appreciation for living things through writing.
