January 26 is "Survival Day" an important time when the community gathers to celebrate the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The day serves to acknowledge and reinforce the present and the future of our cultures.

Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute and Kura Yerlo will be holding the Survival Day 2017 at Semaphore Foreshore.

Commencing at 11am - 7.00pm, there is a fun-filled day planned, including a live concert, arts and crafts, food stalls, children's activities and Tandanya's Gallery pop up store. Finishing off with a fireworks display at 9.30pm thanks to the Port Adelaide Enfield Council.

This event has not been organised by the Australians Together team. However, it may provide a valuable opportunity for you to continue your journey of listening to Indigenous people and building relationships in the future. Please contact the event organisers for further information.
