Unit overview

Habitats are necessary to sustain life, but the physical conditions of habitats can change. This unit explores some of these changes and the knowledges First Nations Peoples have about the growth and survival of living things.

Students can extend their learning in a practical hands-on experiment designed to replicate changes to the land after colonisation. They devise their own hypothesis and control for variables to better understand the principles of fair testing
