You’ll be introduced to five key ideas that help build awareness and a deeper understanding of histories and cultures of First Nations Peoples. We’ll show you an activity you can use to help students understand their own culture and the cultures of others. This video helps you understand where you fit in the story of Australia; knowing this can lead to a shift in perspective and a shift in how you teach Indigenous content.

At the end of the video you’ll be guided to further resources you can use in the classroom. You’ll receive a certificate and a downloadable description you can add to your Professional Learning record.

“Knowledge is power. The more you know the more you are able to teach.”
