Unit overview

In this unit students will:

  • explore both informal and formal units of measuring length
  • explore what we can measure and how
  • use uniform informal units to measure length
  • investigate how First Nations people use measurement on Country in everyday life
  • investigate how First Nations people use length when weaving and hunting 
  • create a woven artwork and write an artist statement demonstrating their learning.
