Unit overview
In this unit, students will:
- build their understanding of numbers and numerals through hands-on and on-Country mathematical experiences
- learn more about the significance of Country for First Nations Peoples as well the ways Country can be observed throughout each local First Nations season
- explore family and kinship, and create their own mathematical sums using their families as inspiration
- work together to share their learning by creating a class book.
