Unit overview

In this unit, students will:

  • investigate the different properties of solids and liquids, and the ways these properties are affected by heat
  • deepen their understanding about First Nations Peoples’ scientific knowledges, and consider the different ways heat and states of matter are used in practice
  • participate in practical activities, demonstrations and experiments to illustrate these principles.
