Unit overview
In this unit, students will:
-
develop an awareness and appreciation of the ways context and perspectives inform ideas and actions around togetherness and ‘reconciliation’, and what the word actually means
-
explore the concepts of togetherness, context and perspectives

examine how these concepts are represented in important protocols and texts, which are significant for building connections between First Nations people and non-Indigenous people in Australia

engage with a variety of tasks, learning to appreciate the diversity of voices in their world
-
complete a creative assessment in response to their learning, with reference to context, tone and solidarity.
