Unit overview

In this unit, students will:

  • identify what feral animals are, why they were brought to this continent, and the impact they have on Country
  • explore First Nations people’s connection to Country
  • understand the impact of colonisation on native animals
  • identify a feral animal and its impact on Country and culture
  • consolidate their understanding of the issue using flowcharts
  • create an ebook demonstrating their feral animal’s impact
  • communicate by presenting and discussing their ebook.
