Unit overview
This unit teaches students how we can use our scientific knowledge of erosion and weathering to better protect and preserve First Nations sites of cultural significance. In this unit, students will:
- experiment on different materials to see erosion and weathering in action
- read and interpret texts on the impacts of weathering and erosion
- make recommendations on how to preserve significant sites from these impacts.
