Unit overview

In this unit, students will:

  • develop an awareness and appreciation of the ways context and perspectives inform ideas and actions around reconciliation
  • explore the concepts of reconciliation, context and perspectives
  • examine how these concepts are represented in important protocols and texts, which are significant for reconciliation in Australia
  • engage with a variety of tasks, learning to appreciate the diversity of voices in their world
  • complete a creative assessment in response to reconciliation, with reference to context, tone and solidarity.
