In this unit, students will:
- experience varied ways in which languages are used to communicate First Nations perspectives and ‘ways of being, knowing and doing’
- appreciate texts by First Nations writers in their entirety
- apply critical thinking skills in analysis of the texts
- reflect on their learning and respond creatively.
