Unit overview
In this unit, students will:
- examine their own and their family’s identity, values and cultures
- compare, analyse and evaluate First Nations artists’ methods and artworks
- explore ways First Nations artists communicate ideas
- understand ways First Nations Peoples continue to develop their cultures
- learn about cultural appropriation and how to avoid it
- respond to their learning by creating their own artworks.
